The preview for League of Legends Patch 14.22 has arrived, bringing with it some exciting adjustments to the Rift!
Riot has been stepping up its updates in recent patches. Since the mid-season changes, they’ve been rolling out one game-altering adjustment after another. From the sweeping item overhauls in Patch 14.10 to Teemo’s recent ASU, players have seen plenty of impactful updates. Now, Patch 14.22 looks set to keep the momentum going.
One of the most anticipated changes in Patch 14.22 is the release of a new champion: Ambessa Medarda. Last seen in Arcane Season 1, she’ll now be joining the champion roster in League. Ambessa is a hyper-mobile bruiser who excels in fast-paced engagements and swift takedowns, bringing a playstyle similar to K’Sante but with a distinct Noxian twist.
Other key changes are also on the way. The Summoner Spell Barrier is getting some substantial nerfs, while Warwick will be receiving several buffs to help him stay competitive.
