League of Legends players are buzzing with excitement as Patch 14.8 heralds the arrival of the highly-anticipated 2024 Mid-Season Invitational update.
Riot Games has given its stamp of approval to Patch 14.8 as the official MSI update, gearing up for a showdown among twelve of the top-tier teams, including heavyweights like G2 Esports, Team Liquid, and Gen.G. The battleground for international glory will be none other than Chengdu, promising intense clashes and nail-biting moments throughout April.
But Riot isn’t hitting the brakes on changes just yet. This patch brings a plethora of adjustments, with nearly two dozen champions receiving buffs, nerfs, and power tweaks. From the formidable Skarner’s changes to neutral objectives such as Voidgrubs and Baron Nashor, no stone is left unturned in the upcoming MSI patch.
Pro play favorites like Azir, Akali, and Ryze are also under the spotlight, alongside other stalwarts like Zeri, Jhin, Thresh, Zac, and Mordekaiser. Riot Phroxzon, the harbinger of these patch changes, unveiled the extensive list on April 8, sending shockwaves through the League community.
