League of legends Twisted Treeline map and 3vs3 game mode will be revived in Wild Rift

The game mode that was once removed in League of legends will most likely to reappear again in the mobile version of this game.

Twisted Treeline is one of the oldest maps in LOL, this map is associated with 2 game modes: 3vs3 (traditional mode) and Hexakill – 6vs6 (temporary mode).

However, with the exception of the launch of Hexakill mode at the end of 2014, Twisted Treeline and the traditional 3vs3 mode did not attract too many LOL players. As a result, the map with this game mode was officially removed in 2019.

Perhaps true to the usual mentality of “Don’t look for what is lost if you didn’t keep it”, a lot of LOL players, whether they like this map and game mode or not, when the announcement of their removal is made by Riot Games, they still feel extremely regretful. Simply by abandoning a familiar game mode in the Client of LOL will somewhat lose the old memories of gamers who have been attached to this game from the first versions.

However, recently, in a conversation with the gaming community on Reddit, representatives of Riot Games’ Wild Rift development team spoke out about their plans to bring Twisted Treeline and 3vs3 mode back on mobile platform.

Specifically, as soon as ARAM mode is officially completed at the end of season 2 (around the end of June, early July), Riot Games will officially enter the testing phase and developing 3vs3 mode on the mobile version of LOL.

Riot representatives revealed that this will be a “familiar” mode, so many fans have believed that the 3vs3 mode of Wild Rift will be accompanied by the come back of the Twisted Treeline. However, similar to the ARAM launch period, Wild Rift gamers will probably have to wait for about half a year if they want to experience this mode, in case Riot Games really embarks on developing it.
