League of Legends: Two new champions revealed

These two new champions are now apparently the main topic of the majority of discussions on social networks and forums, especially the ones specializing in League of Legends.

Obviously, 2021 is the year of multiple milestones in the development path of LoL, when our new champions have been having biographies that are closely related, especially to the plot of Shadow Isles.

Beginning with Senna in 2019 and then Viego and Gwen in 2021, all the upcoming champions of LoL will own strained relationships with those three champions and have special interactions with each other. In other words, this year’s development path will be completely opposite to previous ones, when every new champion will bring us brand new enormous biographies related to the LoL Universe. As stated by the latest news, our next champion will be a Yordle burst mage.

According to Riot’s description, this will be a champion having a “fretful” appearance and a relatively “classical” kit with no breakthroughs in his/her skills mechanism. We will soon have a new option for mid-lane, instead of the ones appearing for years in Summoner’s Rift like Oriana or Syndra.

Recently, a Twitter channel suddenly shared an image which was said to be the appearance of this new champion: a grouchy female Yordle with a huge gown (or hair) that lives separately with her. Honestly, this champion was previously completed, but then her publishment had been canceled by Riot because of unfinished biography. As a result, her leaked appearance seems to be inevitable.

As we have mentioned above, as this Yordle mage’s publishment has been confirmed to be postponed by Riot, our 156th champion will be probably a different name – a mid-lane marksman owning the plot relating much to Lucian and Senna.

Unlike other “fake” solo-lane marksmen (originally designed for bot-lane) like Tristana, Lucian, or Vayne, this new marksman will have a kit concentrating on the solo laning phase. Additionally, his/her weapon, which was newly leaked, seems to be a grappling hook, which means this champion will have extremely high mobility.

Mobility is also the reason for the rising of Lucian and Tristana in mid-lane. However, once Riot focusing on this aspect so as to create a champion mainly used for solo-lanes, his/her kit will definitely have dashes or anything else leveling up his/her mobility to compensate for the low amount of HP of marksmen.

Alongside the mentioned Yordle mage, this champion’s appearance had also been leaked before. Looking at the below picture, you can easily associate him with Camille, but in a long-ranged version:

About his plot, this new marksman of LoL was said to be a member of Sentinels of Light and would be an ally of the duo of Lucian – Senna in the fight against Viego. This information completely coincides with the one published before by Riot: all new champions’ plots in 2021 will definitely have something related to the Ruined King.
