League of Legends: Which Ultimate Skin is the best?

When it comes to developing champions and their alternative skins, League of Legends goes all out. Without considering variants, the game contains over thousands of skins. The six Ultimate skins, on the other hand, are exceptional since the amount of detail considerably outweighs anything else (even the price).

These unique cosmetics are found on the Ultimate tier and cost a whooping 3,250 RP (about $25 USD). The Riot cosmetic team puts a lot of effort on these skins, including a new model that transforms into numerous forms, new skin textures, animations, and graphics, as well as a whole voiceline set and distinctive sound effects.

With the impending Samira Ultimate skin coming soon, it’s nice to look back at the previous Ultimate skins that was released over the past years.

League of Legends Ultimate Skins

Pulsefire Ezreal

Pulsefire Ezreal had its moment of glory as the very first ultimate skin. He was the first to use the multiple changing gimmick of ultimate skins, with his four forms obtainable via upgrading his ultimate.

When a player levels up Ezreal’s ultimate ability, Trueshot Barrage, his armour adds additional parts and becomes much more complicated, as well as some new voice lines, textures, and animations as he progresses to his final state.

This is simply one of many futuristic skins in League of Legends, but what makes it stand out is how perfectly Ezreal’s backstory links in with the skin.

Spirit Guard Udyr

If you were fortunate enough to purchase this Ultimate skin prior to the rework, you may relax and enjoy the return on your investment. The rebuilt Spirit Guard Udyr outperformed its predecessor. He’s larger, has longer hair, and resembles a heavenly deity.

Udyr, the Spirit Guard, has four various forms depending on the four animals he uses while diving into the battle. The Spirit Walker represents the creature and demonstrates their beautiful and dangerous natures with colourful animations and sound effects from the Tiger, Turtle, Bear, and Phoenix.

DJ Sona

DJ Sona can handle all of your music and support requirements. You may pick from three setlists: Kinetic, Concussive, and Ethereal. Kinetic provides aggressive and explosive rave-like music; Concussive leans more towards rock with an ever-changing rhythm suited for headbanging; and Ethereal provides a strange sorrowful melody with lo-fi sounds.

DJ Sona’s look, including her sound system and DJ deck, alters as you play these songs. Her abilitites’ sound effects are also fantastic and complement her current theme.

Elementalist Lux

Elementalist Lux is the pinnacle of skin excellence, containing 10 forms in a single Ultimate skin. Elementalist Lux is elevated not just by quantity, but also by the quality of each of these forms. They stand out from the crowd thanks to their distinct haircut, dress, ability effects, and sound and particle effects.

Elementalist Lux has unique mechanics for assuming each of the forms. It’s as simple as hitting, obtaining, and combining – while first odd you’ll get used to it shortly.

Gun Goddess Miss Fortune

As a Gun Goddess Ultimate skin, Miss Fortune assumes four forms: Scarlet Fair, Zero Hour, Royal Arms, and Star Swarm. Each of these forms is more than simply chromas; it features unique designs with various firearms.

Scarlet Fair is the first one, as shown by the splash art. Zero Hour sports are evocative of a luxury skin with gold tones. Royal Arms has the nicest colour palette, with white, bright yellow, and a light blue that resembles a mecha titan. Finally, Zero Hour is the most edgy due to the eyepatch, consistent pink-purple-red colour scheme, and fearsome shark-looking firearms.

K/DA All Out Seraphine

The last Ultimate skin on this list is Seraphine’s. The skin helped tell her story, as players were tasked with completing special missions to level up the skin from her humble beginnings as a small indie artist recording in her bedroom, to her first steps on the big stage, to finally making her debut as a pop-star with K/DA. When these forms are fully unlocked, players will be able to select the version of the skin they want to play as before the match starts.
