League of Legends: Wanna be as great as Faker, get rid of number 1 button first.

Let’s analyze the setting that Faker uses to contend in the highest level of League of Legends.

With 3 Summoner’s Cups from World Championships, 2 MSI Cup and many LCK titles, Faker has been the greatest League of Legends players in ever and attracts an enormous amount of fans. Though he is in the age of 24, not a young age in Esports scene, Faker still amazingly performs well, equally accepts all competitions from other ambitious and young newcomers such as Chovy or SnowMaker thanks to his high skilled foundation and sharp strategic thinking.

Faker has already a legend.

It’s easy to point out that Faker is a role model for all League of Legends players to study from, because of that Faker’ proview though a bit “confusing” due to how fast his hands manipulate the game is, it still being watched a lot, even his way of using runes or champions is very interesting too. However, have you ever wondered Faker uses any special setting or device like mouse ? Many will assume “Unkillable Demon King” may stay loyal to the default setup but it is not the case in reality.

His settings may surprise you.

Recently, Dotesports has revealed for us those setting that Faker is using for mouse, graphics settings and keybinds. It’s clear that copying Faker’ settings will not right away turn you into a good player but atleast it’s a good head start in your journey to improve your skill. Here is Faker’ settings:

In the first part, we have Faker’ mouse and graphics settings. Those indicators like DPI or EDPI and game sens show how sensitive the mouse is( for fast explanation, the higher the number is the bigger distance the mouse travel ). Faker’ indicators is considered higher than average players, the majority have their number at 400-800-1600-3200, average game sens is also about 50 to 60 but Faker dragged it up to 70 .

Faker’ graphics settings are kind of different also. His character quality, effect quality and enviroment quality are set to high but shadows is low. Maybe character’ shadow is something not necessary for this type of game and setting it up to high is only create more confusion in combat.

About keybinds, Faker ability key is very normal like a majority of players using Q-W-E-R, spells on D,F and of course Faker set Flash on F, everyone knows that. What special is how Faker item keybinds are, he sets his first item keybind with [ ` ] instead of number 1 button like others, more on that his item 6 is set on number 7.

Maybe Faker’ switching from 1 to [ ` ] is a smart way to avoid the probability of pressing the wrong key because 1 and Q are close to each other. This is a great solution to reduce bad plays that players can learn from Faker.
