League of Legends: Well Behaved Player Got Gifts from a Random Rioter

Normally, in order to receive gifts from Riot Games, you will have to win tournaments or receive special events. However, do you know that Riot sends players gifts to the players with well-behavior?

u/RengarEngineer – A Reddit user who shared in r/Rengarmains that he was surprised by what Riot has done back in January 2018.

The story begins when u/RengarEngineer was queued with an AP Nasus. Nasus’s excuse was “because the team was lacking AP”.

Though u/RengarEngineer remained calm and even gave Nasus some suggestions and game-play advice in a nice way; Nasus still went AP and kept dying in his lane.

On the other hand, the Jungler on u/RengarEngineer’s team was super powerful and owned the enemy team’s jungle. According to OP.GG at that moment, that one Jungler was on a winning streak as a Jungler.

Impressed by his skill and maybe his behavior as well, u/RengarEngineer was curious and asked the Jungler about his Rank. The Jungler said that he would let u/RengarEngineer know at the end of the match.

At the end of the match, the Jungler sent a friend request to u/RengarEngineer 2 rare summoner icons. They were a Stuffed Rengar icon (available from 20th November 2017 to 6th December 2017) and a rare Wukong icon (only available when you purchase Radiant Wukong Figure from Riot Games merch).

It was interesting that the sender of these logos was from “Riot Games.”

According to this short story, we hope the League community will become a better, less toxic game community. Instead of blaming your teammates for feeding, you could try to communicate with them and help them catch-up with the game.

There is a chance that one of your teammates is a Rioter!
