League Patch 11.21: Lux will finally make a comeback as the best Support and Mage?

Are you ready for the return of Lux in League Patch 11.21?

Riot Games has chosen to liven things up before preseason 2022 with League Patch 11.21, beginning with a massive upgrade to an iconic mage champion, Lux.

Riot has launched a variety of Lux skins, yet she has stayed under the spotlight of League of Legends. She was only buffed twice in Season 11. On patch 11.1, her base armor and basic attack damage were raised, while Lucent Singularity’s late game damage and AP ratio were significantly enhanced.

Patch 11.21 of League of Legends is here to change that with major enhancements to the Lady of Luminosity.

Base Stats

  • Attack speed per level increased from 1% to 2%

Passive – Illumination

  • (Update) Let’s light it up: Illumination mark duration extended if Lux’s basic attack is already in flight to the target, or if R – Final Spark is being cast

E – Lucent Singularity

  • Damage increased from 60/110/160/210/260 (+65% AP) to 70/120/170/220/270 (+70% AP)

R – Final Spark

  • Cooldown decreased from 80/60/40 seconds to 60/50/40 seconds

Prediction

Lucent Singularity (E) is the most crucial spell for mid lane Lux because it is utilized for wave clear. Its basic damage has increased by ten points across all ranks, and its AP scaling ratio has been increased to 70%.

Lucent Singularity will not be able to eliminate minions with a single cast in the early stages when Lux is still working towards her first item. Now that her ultimate’s Final Spark cooldown has been decreased to a minute at rank one, she may one-shot waves with these two spells, recall, buy AP/Ability Haste items, and her ultimate will be off cooldown by the time she returns to lane.

This implies that Lux’s wave clear abilities will be unequaled and unrivaled in League Patch 11.21. With her long range and explosion, she’ll be a nightmare to deal with in lane.

“For me, I believe she’s S-tier,” Tim “Nemesis” Lipovek said in a League Patch 11.21 breakdown video with analyst and T1 content producer Nick “LS” De Cesare. “I also believe that individuals will need time to understand how to play against her.” If you play Lux correctly, her E is unavoidable.”

The boost to Lucent Singularity’s base damage means she’ll deal more damage and poke champions down harder at bot lane, even if she doesn’t have any beginning AP items.

Above are some major Lux modifications; we hope the knowledge we give is beneficial to you. Also, prepare for the return of the Lady of Luminosity.
