Players have been reminded of Riot Games’ 200 years of experience meme by League of Legends’ newest rework of the Star Dragon Aurelion Sol
Many fans are looking forward to Riot Games’ impending update of League of Legends’ Aurelion Sol, who will introduce a slew of new abilities to enchant and demolish his enemies. Aurelion Sol has gotten aesthetic improvements to his abilities and cosmetics, as well as a very unusual easter egg involving his Storm Dragon skin.
However, some ‘meme’ issues and bugs must be corrected by the developers before his final release, including 2 new bugs uncovered by PBE testers.
Vandiril, a popular League content producer, turned his attention on Aurelion Sol and discovered two bugs that could potentially ruin the game if not fixed before he hits the live servers.
The first bug involves employing all of Aurelion’s skills simultaneously. Aurelion Sol may channel his Q while flying with his W while near terrains. After that, putting down his E in specific areas will glitch him into the wall and prevent him from moving.
This causes the Star Dragon to appear to teleport around small distances for a period, and can only be repaired by striking a blast cone to fix his model.
The second bug requires at least two A Sols to be present in-game. Breath of Light, A Sol’s newest Q ability, enables him to channel a beam towards. Enemies that are hit with the breath for at least one second receives damage, and the procedure is repeated indefinitely.
However, having two Aurelion Sols in the game causes this to drastically glitch out. When both Sols hit the same target with their Q, the 1-second windup seems to be reduced to 0 seconds and the target takes massive amounts of damage at once.
In general, this would not be an issue in rank mode. However, in other game modes, this bug might wreak havoc by causing the champion to do ‘200 years of balancing’ damage within seconds.
Riot should be able to resolve all of these errors before the release of Aurelion Sol. Because of the recent cyber-attacks on Riot, devs have yet to announce Sol’s revised release date.
