League of Legends’ event system has gone through several changes as a result of Riot’s determination to expand in-game awards. The creators recommended a significant change in how players might earn them.
League events team has readdressed how players earn points to perform objectives during events to get rewards, Riot ditched the token system in favor of a set amount of points based on gameplay throughout the events, regardless of victory or defeat. They also changed the proportion of time that other modes add to the event’s advancement mechanism.
Many League of Legends fans were dissatisfied with the adjustments since they were perceived as more time-consuming. Riot’s recent unannounced modification appears to have exacerbated the situation.
Riot secretly reset League Event Pass
Riot appears to have “completely reset the progress in the pass,” according to a Reddit user, who first brought it to the notice on the official League of Legends subreddit.
“The milestone missions weren’t giving out prestige points so instead riot should’ve just retroactively given out prestige points based on where you were in the milestone pass right????
Instead they completely reset the progress in the pass.”
The milestone missions that contribute to the progress pass were reset in response to concerns with awards not being distributed, but Riot appears to have totally reset the pass’s progress.
The responses of the Reddit post also show very aggressive sites of League players towards Riot’s both misbehavior of resetting the progress and changing the entire rewards system.
Passes are extremely good means for players to unlock champions, thus taking a blow like this impedes progress in both playing and enjoying the game to the maximum. Riot might have to reconsider their action that has such an impact on the players’ experience.
