Vibing for the biggest event ever in League of Legends’ history – Sentinels of Light…
In Riot Games most recent video about all kinds of events, game mode, skins, gameplay producer Jessica “Safelocked” Nam highlighted many aspects of the next League event – Sentinels of Light event.
Then, Sentinels of Light event had already been confirmed to be alike Spirit Blossom event with an in-client interaction. The Spirit Blossom event was a huge success for Riot as it was their first-time introducing dialogue-driven in-client system as part of the celebration.
As for the Sentinels of Light event, it is no doubt that the event will have the same popularity as Spirit Blossom, especially with the latest photos of it. Recently, a Youtuber under the name of Terty uploaded a video of leaked screenshots of the in-game pictures of the event.
Sentinels of Light event leaked screens
On the first screen, it appears to be the main screen of the headquarter of Sentinels of Light champions (both characters and skins) that concluded of Akshan, Irelia, Senna, Lucian, Vayne and Riven. It also seems that the event has a total of 5 missions or 5 tasks in each mission to complete in the whole event.
Next on the second screen we can clearly see that Riot has implied 3 choices for players to complete on their path of the event.
- Play games: Play matchmade games of Sr, ARAM, or Ultimate Spellbook to gain influence, unlock new stories, and advance through new regions of Runeterra.
- Choose your path: When you finish a region, choose the next one to determine who joins your party next. Your choices alter the fate of your allies and the Rookie themselves.
- Recruit Sentinels: As a Rookie Sentinel, build a team to push back Viego and the Black Mist. New Sentinels unlock new ways to gain influence.
The 2 following screens is perhaps an interactive dialogue for players to choose, similar to Spirit Blossom event.
A sneak-peak of the biggest event ever of League of Legends can surely put some curiosity on to fans. The event is said to make its way to League of Legends in patch 11.14 on Thursday, July 8 so players can prepare themselves to fight against the Black Mist along with Sentinels of Light.
