The 2023 Champion Roadmap has been leaked

Riot revealed details about two new champions coming to the game at the start of the year. The first is Milio, an Ixtali enchanter, and the second is Naafiri, a Darkin assassin. Milio has already been added to the game as of Patch 13.6, and Naafiri will be introduced shortly.

There has also been some small information revealed concerning a Vampire champion, an Ink Mage, and a Freljord Hunter. Aside than that, we don’t know much about the prospective champs.

However, a well-known leaker known as Big Bad Bear has released some further information regarding the upcoming champions. The leak also revealed some details regarding the 2023 champions’ roadmap.

After Milio, the next champion to emerge is Naafiri. She will be a Darkin champion with a dog-like personality. Unlike the other humanoid Darkins, she will also be a monster champion.

In terms of abilities, she will have the capacity to multiply, and she will be able to hunt in packs with her skill. According to the previous leaks, she will be relatively easy to play but with a higher skill cap.

Vampire Castle

Riot revealed the next Jungle champion to be added to the game at their most recent champion showcase. They displayed a massive castle and implied that it would most likely be a Vampire champion. Aside than that, we don’t have any further information.

Ink Mage

Riot teased a new mage champion capable of manipulating ink to “draw” skills a few years ago, entitled Ink Mage. They didn’t have the technology at the time to bring the champion into the game. But, after many years, Riot is bringing the concept back in 2023.

The Freljord Hunter

Some rumours have circulated regarding a new female champion from the Freljord area. She will be a hunter and, more than likely, an ADC or Top Laner.

However, the official roadmap will be released in two to three weeks, and Riot will most likely provide additional information about the new champions at that time.
