Mel Medarda’s Arrival in League of Legends
Mel Medarda was introduced in Arcane Season 1 back in November 2021 as a prominent Piltover councilor. She was revealed to be the daughter of Ambessa Medarda and played a pivotal role in aiding Jayce with the development of Hextech. By the end of Season 1, however, she was presumed dead after Jinx’s explosive rocket attack.
Season 2 reveals that Mel survived the incident. As the story progresses, she discovers her untapped potential for magic and ultimately returns to Noxus, seemingly stepping into her mother’s role as the head of the Medarda family.
