Lee Sin at the time of his debut has extremely unique skill set, can see stealthed units near him

Lee Sin is probably one of the representative faces of League of Legends with a strong shape, a skilful and manoeuvrable skill set that makes Lee Sin one of the few champions regardless of the meta (perhaps only after each Yasuo). However, few people know that Lee Sin’s first skill set is extremely weird

Once a promising Lee Sin mage from Ionia, Lee Sin is a blind monk who sought redemption at the Shojin Monastery for a terrible mistake that cost innocent lives. In the midst of the Noxian invasion, his power became one with his flesh in a way none could have foreseen. With burning Flurry fists and inhumanly powerful roundhouse kicks, he fights those who dare despoil his homeland.

Passive – Sight Unseeing

Lee Sin can see stealthed units near him (Effect Radius: 200-575 based on level)

Q – Flurry

Active: Lee Sin launches into a flurry of slashes, striking randomly four times, each dealing (+ 80% total AD) physical damage

W – Iron Fist

Active: Lee Sin’s next basic attack deals bonus physical damage and stuns for 0.75 seconds. Cooldown decreases with level

E – Way of Agility

Passive: Lee Sin’s gains increased bonus movement speed.

Toggle: Switch between increased critical strike chance or dodge chance.

R – Unleash the Beast

Active: Lee Sin spawns a clone of himself. The Beast gains benefits from Way of Agility, activates Iron Fist when you cast it and will Flurry when you cast it. Lasts up to 60 seconds

Lee Sin’s original design of the game was inspired by DotA Allstars developers when the first game developers of League of Legends is Guinsoo or PenDragon moved from the custom map to LoL. The original set of skills of this champion is a bit of a low range, which is extremely popular in DotA when having both cloning and the ability to increase critical damage.

However, this version of Lee Sin created too many game errors, especially in the final clone when the game platform of the League of Legends then did not allow. As a result, this Lee Sin project was removed, instead, Riot Games created a version more familiar to current gamers. It can be said that Lee Sin is the most important champion in League of Legends history when it pushes players to elevate their skills to a very high level.
