Patch 14.5 brought about significant changes to League of Legends, particularly focusing on Rek’Sai, one of the champions in the game. However, it seems that along with the adjustments, a key aspect of Rek’Sai’s abilities got broken, leaving players concerned and calling for immediate action.
Recently, a Reddit user pointed out a problem with Rek’Sai’s main mechanic: her ability to knock up enemies after attacking them while she’s underground. This is crucial for RekSai, especially since she’s commonly played as a jungler, relying heavily on this mechanic for successful ganks.
Many other players echoed similar experiences, noting that Rek’Sai isn’t consistently triggering the knock-up effect as intended, prompting them to request a fix from Riot Games.
Rek’Sai’s ability, Burrow (W), allows her to unburrow and knock up enemies. However, the recent update seems to have disrupted this mechanic. Players usually attack enemy champions while underground to trigger the knock-up effect automatically. But it appears that Patch 14.5 has affected this feature negatively.
Although Patch 14.5 aimed to improve her abilities, players remain concerned about the functionality of her W ability. Despite receiving buffs to her other skills like E, Q, and R, the changes to her W specifically aimed to prevent it from knocking up targets who were recently knocked up by her Unborrow ability.
However, players have noticed instances where the knock-up effect fails to activate altogether, leaving her early-game potential compromised.
Given the importance of this mechanic to Rek’Sai’s gameplay, the community is urging for a swift resolution. Riot Games has a history of promptly addressing critical issues in the game, and considering the impact of this bug, players hope for a speedy fix to restore Rek’Sai’s effectiveness in matches.
