LCO champs PEACE hasn’t paid their players ‘thousands’ since last year

LCO team PEACE still owes thousands of dollars to its prior players

PEACE, the reigning LCO champion, is accused of failing to pay “tens of thousands” in incentives and prize pool shares to players on their 2021 League of Legends team who represented Oceania at Worlds in Reykjavik last October. These also include LCO bonuses, which were to be paid “within 30 days” at the end of Split 2.

PEACE is an Australian esports organization that has just joined the League of Legends Circuit Oceania. Former players Tally (now with The Chiefs) and Aladoric (unsigned) have taken to Twitter to express their dissatisfaction with the organization’s compensation deal.

Tally and Aladoric both played for PEACE in 2021 before moving on to different teams. While player transfers are common, it seems that there was more to the departure than was previously disclosed.

Tally posted to Twitter after playing against the new PEACE roster to criticize the organization’s actions. Shortly after, Aladoric used a TwitLonger to back up Tally’s claims. In the article, he claims that the former players have been waiting for their payout since October 2021.

When it comes to organizations misbehaving, the Australian League of Legends has a sadly dramatic history, and recent claims against the organization add to the list. The Oceania region has already become more unpredictable for players as a result of the long payment delay.

Since Tally and Aladoric’s charges, PEACE has made no public remarks. The organization’s silence is the most resounding response, preferring to discontinue publishing rather than instantly reply. Hopefully, the problem would fix itself, but both of these two players are disappointed that it had progressed this far.
