LoL players desperately want this game mode back in the game

LoL players have expressed their desire for the revival of the retired 3v3 game mode and its corresponding map.

Since its begin in 2009, Riot’s iconic MOBA has undergone significant evolution, with shifts in the meta, gameplay, and strategic approaches. Originally designed to cater to a more casual audience, the game featured diverse modes to engage players with varied preferences.

However, as the game progressed, there was a noticeable shift in focus towards the 5v5 game mode, sidelining the other game modes that once thrived. The retirement of these older modes has left a void for many players who now yearn for a more diversified gaming experience within League of Legends.

Among the retired game modes, the Twisted Treeline, a 3v3 mode with a unique map and distinct meta, has emerged as a focal point for player nostalgia.

This mode not only altered the gameplay dynamics but also influenced the strengths of champions and strategies used by players. The requests from the community to bring back the Twisted Treeline highlight a longing for the strategic nuances and distinct flavor it brought to League of Legends.

Several players have taken to various platforms to voice their sentiments, expressing how much they enjoyed the unique challenges and excitement that the 3v3 mode offered.

“Twisted Treeline was the only PvP mode we actually enjoyed. When they deleted it most of my friends stopped playing League. The pre-rework and the reworked were both great. We have so many fun memories from those.”

The community’s collective plea for the return of Twisted Treeline underscores a shared sentiment for more variety and options within the League of Legends gaming experience.

“What i really liked with 3v3 is that i had an impact on every game, no matter how bad my teammates where”

Regrettably, despite the passionate pleas from the player base, it appears that the developers currently have no intentions of resurrecting the beloved 3v3 mode.

As a result, players are left with nothing but fond memories and a sense of nostalgia, cherishing the moments from a game mode that has become a thing of the past.
