LoL players are pleading with the developers to give the Victorious Sona skin some much-needed attention after learning that only the skin’s sound effects will be updated, leaving the visuals unchanged.

While League of Legends is a free-to-play game, there are many cosmetic options, like skins, that allow players to customize the appearance of their champions. Most skins come with a price, ranging from as low as $5 to as high as $50 for ultimate-tier skins.

However, some skin lines, notably the Victorious and Three Honors skin lines, which are completely free as long as players meet the required conditions. Victorious skins are awarded to players who earn enough Split Points during a Ranked Split, while Three Honors skins are given to players who maintain a high level of honorable behavior.

In most cases, these skins are considered valuable rewards, offering great designs and effects. Unfortunately, the latest Victorious Sona skin has fallen short for many players. Although the splash art impressed the community, players were quick to notice that the in-game model lacks both VFX and SFX distinct from Sona’s base skin, leaving many disappointed.

Riot Games responded to these concerns by announcing that they will update the SFX of the Victorious Sona skin after its launch, intending to address some of the feedback.

However, this only partially satisfied the community, as many players still feel that the skin’s VFX also need improvement.

“What about the poorly made VFX, which is just the base Sona VFX but with glitter?”

“Thank you for this. Also please consider changes to her VFX as well.

This has led to a broader call from players for Riot to update both the sound and visual effects of the skin to match the quality of previous Victorious skins. Many believe the current version lacks the flair and uniqueness expected from such a prestigious skin.

“The VFX looks so poor compared to other Victorious skins that were released before hers.”

Although Riot has confirmed that the SFX for Victorious Sona will receive an update post-release, there is hope that they might also consider enhancing her visual effects in a future patch. For now, players are eagerly waiting to see if Riot will listen to their requests and give the Victorious Sona skin the visual upgrade they believe it deserves.
