The much-anticipated 2023 World Championship update has arrived, and it’s League of Legends Patch 13.19, which will shape the professional play metagame for the next two months.
The most recent League of Legends update was Patch 13.18, and Riot expressed satisfaction with the ongoing balance adjustments. While Patch 13.18 didn’t pose many issues, Riot did have some trouble with Briar’s win rate when it keeps going up and down. Now, we’re gearing up for Patch 13.19, the patch on which the Worlds 2023 tournament will be contested.
The Worlds 2023 updates are considered minor, as Riot fine-tunes and refines various aspects for the World Championship. The focus of Patch 13.19 is quite straightforward: there are specific champions that the League of Legends developers are keen to see the world’s top players use in South Korea once Worlds 2023 commences in October.
