In the 10.22 TFT update, Riot has made a huge bug in increasing Morgana’s AP damage and caused a stir in player community!
Riot’s update bug
Morgana’s spell damage was mistakenly changed to 325/525/2000 instead of 250/400/2000 in the 10.22 update. This was shared by Riot Mortdog, the leader of TFT Design, on Twitter today.
He said it was an accident during the update, though, the final decision is to remain it that “error” without any hotfix. Mortdog said that the game balancing team will continue to follow up and make appropriate adjustments in patch 10.22b next week.
This has been discovered by the TFT gaming community since the update launched. The fact that the Enlightened roster was too strong with Morgana’s extreme damage has caused doubt.
According to the announcement, Riot has nothing to do with buffing Morgana damage, just editing the effects of the Enlightened trait. Therefore, this sudden change has made the TFT community quite confused!
It’s hard to believe that a professional design team of Riot Games has “unfortunately” make the mistake like this. Many players think it’s an intentionally buff. Whether this change will break the game or not, they feel so angry with a glaring lie from game creators. Some said it’s a bad habit of Riot game balancing game: “fix everything in B-patch”

Will Enlightened Morgana dominate TFT serves?
With Mortdog’s confirmation, players understood that the problem was with Riot. However, the final decision made many people angry. Apparently, Morgana’s Damage increase was not part of the update’s plan, but upon finding that out, Riot didn’t make an immediate fix but had to wait until the next patch!
With two main champions, Talon and Morgana, this is the team with stable damage for both wide-area and single-target. Being combined with Mystic and Adept makes this squad much more balanced and can withstand other powerful combos.
From damage supporter, Morgana becomes an instant staple in the current version. So many people worry that Enlightenment Morgana will continue to conquer TFT servers like Divine Warwick Thunder in 10.21!
The 8th level lineup includes Talon, Morgana, Irelia, Shen, Pyke, Zilean, Janna, Yone. In conclusion, it completely can become the next “spam” lineup in the next days!
