According to MrBeast, however, the team will not be formed at least until the next season.
Only a few days after tweeting how he eventually wants his own League of Legends team, Jimmy “MrBeast” Donaldson has announced that he may already have something on his work.
While MrBeast was replying to the questions of the chat in a recent 24-hour stream in which he signed merch for viewers, one of them asked him if he really was working on a plan to own a team of League, to which he immediately had said YES.
“Oh yeah, not even thinking, it’s happening,” said MrBeast. “Just give me a little bit of time. We have so much going on with this channel, the side channel, and all of the other companies…so definitely not this season or the Summer Split either. But we are definitely going to have a Beast Gaming League of Legends team—100 percent.”
Compare to his earlier comments, this is a massive leap, but perhaps he wouldn’t want a whole Twitter thread to clarify his intentions, because he was still vague about the specific details in front of the cameras as well.
“I definitely want [a League team],” said MrBeast. “I don’t want to say too much of what I have planned…I spend so much time watching, so I was just like ‘I might as well be watching one of my teams.’”
From his initial position, TSM and Fnatic ‘s CEO Sam Matthews have been reaching out and showing interest in partnering with the creator, who has acquired almost 46 million viewers on his main YouTube channel.
