Crystalis Motus Leona, the first addition to the new Mythic skin line, has been revealed
While Riot works on several of the standard skin lines, players are always asking for higher rarity skins. The Ashen series has been fantastic; Ashen Guardian Shen was released earlier this year, signalling the end of the Ashen skin line. There have been rumours about a new Mythic skin line as well as a new skin tier in Riot’s rarity system since then.
And, with the latest PBE release, Riot has revealed the new Mythic skin line: Crystalis Motus, featuring Leona as the first addition.
New Mythic Skin Crystalis Motus Leona
This skin will be called as Crystalis Motus Leona, and it appears to be the conclusion of the Ashen Knights skin series that has been available in the Mythic Essence shop for the last year.
This skin entirely encases Leona in purple crystals, including a crystal headgear, crystal armour, and a matching crystal sword and shield. The depiction of the crystal fragments and the sound effects of glass breaking are all fantastic.
Her ability animations all contain some type of purple brilliance, with her ultimate even destroying the earth to expose additional crystals beneath.
While this is Leona’s first Mythic-tier skin, the champion has received a lot of attention from Riot in recent years, including many Legendary skins and participation in several popular skin lines.
This skin, like all other Mythic Skins, will cost 100 Mythic Essence. The skin can only be obtained through the Mythic Shop in-game. Following its release, it will be available in the Mythic Shop.
With that said, the new Mythic skin will only be available for purchase with Mythic Essence from the Mythic Essence shop when Patch 13.12 is released on June 14.
