Yasuo is getting a new Mythic Variant skin, known as Genesis Nightbringer Yasuo.
Over the years, the Versus thematic has led to the creation of several popular skin lines, such as Nightbringer and Dawnbringer. These skin lines have introduced numerous standout skins. Despite all these fantastic additions, none have matched the popularity of Nightbringer Yasuo and Dawnbringer Riven.
These two skins were the first to be introduced in the Versus series back in 2017, and they immediately gained immense popularity within the community. Even after several years, they continue to be fan favorites, with many players still choosing them frequently.
Recognizing the long-lasting appeal of these skins, Riot Games has decided to bring one of them back in the form of a Mythic Variant.
Genesis Nightbringer Yasuo
This new version of Nightbringer is called Genesis Nightbringer Yasuo and will come with updated VFX and animations to make it feel fresh and exciting. However, like all Mythic Variant skins, it comes with a hefty price tag, so it won’t be easy to obtain.
To unlock the skin, players will need to open 30 Nightbringer Capsules. Each capsule is priced at 750 RP, meaning the total cost to obtain this Mythic Variant will amount to 22,500 RP, which is equivalent to around $200 USD.
This high cost might deter some players, but for those dedicated to collecting rare skins or long-time fans of Yasuo, the skin will certainly be a valuable addition to their collection.
Release Date
The Genesis Nightbringer Yasuo skin is set to launch with Patch 14.20, which is scheduled for release on Wednesday, October 9, 2024. Fans and collectors of Mythic skins can mark their calendars as this release will undoubtedly be a major highlight of the patch.
