Recently in League of Legends, a new Alistar combo has been discovered that can immobilize an opponent for what appears to be up to 4 seconds stun.
Players are all familiar with Alistar’s combo W-Q as a mini version of Malphite’s R. but with this brand-new discovery involving using this item, Alistar can now stunning the enemy longer than ever.
On Reddit, a player uncovered this new Alistar combo that includes a double knock-up with the help of the item Ironspike Whip. The combo may be performed quite early in the game and will temporarily shock the opponent. The combo isn’t easy to pull off, but it will almost certainly give you a significant advantage in both solo queue and perhaps professional games in tournaments.
The Alistar combo can be done as the above:
E – W – Ironspike Whip – Q – Right-click to cancel – Q – AA ( to trigger E stun)
Players must have quick fingers and the perfect combination of talents to pull off the new combo. The first need is an item having an active with a short cast time to cancel the knock back of his W, such as Ironspike Whip. Alistar is able to buffer his abilities and pull off the combo thanks to the cast time. The combo can also be used with other items that have comparable cast timings.
With the item equipped, players must begin by using Trample (E), followed by Headbutt (W). While the Headbutt is charging, press the active item and Pulverize (Q) as you would in a typical CC combo with Alistar. Players must be quick and right-click to cancel the Pulverize rather than allowing the combination go through.
After the stun has worn off, Alistar can use Pulverize and auto-attack for yet another Trample stun. When the combination is executed successfully, the adversary will be stunned three times and will have no way of escaping.
The present interaction was most certainly not planned by Riot and will most certainly become far too powerful. Yet of course, because this combo was only recently found, it is conceivable that it will remain in the game for a short period of time. However, Riot will ultimately correct it.
