New ARAM changes coming in League of Legends

Exciting updates are coming to ARAM, the popular League of Legends game mode, with Patch 14.23. This patch brings some much-needed balance adjustments following the major overhaul in the recent Patch 14.22.

Patch 14.22 introduced one of the biggest changes to ARAM so far: a brand-new map called The Bridge of Progress. Inspired by the Arcane universe, this new map combines elements from both Zaun and Piltover. The Purple, or Red, side draws its design and energy from Zaun, utilizing its signature Chemtech and Shimmer technologies. Meanwhile, the Blue side is styled after Piltover and powered by Hextech, giving each side a distinctive look and feel.

Beyond its visual appeal, The Bridge of Progress comes with some gameplay-altering features. Each side has received unique buffs that give champions on each team different boosts based on their respective side’s tech focus. In addition, new champion-exclusive quests have been introduced specifically for ARAM, adding extra depth and variety to the game mode.

However, as with any major update, The Bridge of Progress has had its share of issues. Furthermore, the new buffs have caused some imbalance, making certain champions more powerful than expected when using these abilities.

In response, Riot Games is planning significant adjustments in Patch 14.23 to address these balance concerns for ARAM.
