A new LoL bug enables player to unlock 900-damage Smite from the 6th minute of the game

Smite saw a significant change in the most recent League patch 11.10, and it was accompanied by a game-breaking error.

A recent YouTube video demonstrated how players would gain the 900-damage Smite in the first sixth minutes by using the Unsealed Spellbook keystone. Riot recently adjusted Smite to deal flat damage, starting at 450 and increasing to 900 after completing the Smite quest. The shortest time to reach this amount of damage is normally about nine minutes, but this new bug allows it to be accomplished even sooner.

Along with the damage change to Smite, the damage increase can be achieved by swapping summoner spells twice with Unsealed Spellbook. Since the Smite quest completes after just one summoner spell swap, indicating that this change isn’t working as expected.

With only six minutes in a game are required to unlock the first summoner spell swap with Unsealed Spellbook, junglers can now access a huge amount of Smite damage in the very early stage of the match. It can be considered as a game-breaking bug that will most likely be hotfixed soon, but before then, players who exploit it will have a significant advantage.

Thanks to the 900-Smite-damage that the bug provides, not only will this speed up the jungle clearing ability, but also allow players to secure every possibly objective without the enemy stealing it. It will also be quite beneficial in securing the first Dragon, which will be disputed in some scenarios right around the six-minute stage.

This game-breaking error was about some days now, but Riot is supposed to patch the spellbook bug soon.
