The bug hasn’t been fixed yet.
Recently, a new post in r/LeagueofLegends by u/max1mum has discovered this interesting bug in League of Legends. The post has received tons of upvotes and comments from the community.
“TIL: buying Frozen Heart while dead and undoing the purchase will give permanent (until their death) attack speed reduction to enemies around your corps at the time of undo”
This is essentially a game bug, so it makes no sense for the item aura to affect the enemy champion after you’ve been killed. The second thing that is worth mentioning is that the passive of Frozen Heart’s attack speed reduction will last too long only by undoing the item while you are dying. This ensures that you won’t expend any golds to apply this effect on your enemies.
Imagine how this error will affect the outcome of the match when, for example, the champion affected by Frozen Heart is the main AD carry. Let’s hope that Riot Games will soon discover this bug and find a way to fix it as quickly as possible.
