Riot Games has also released a new prestige skin for the Pride of Nazumah that is unlike any other cosmetic in the game, while League of Legends fans ogles the game’s newest champion, K’Sante.
Riot collaborated with Grammy-winning rapper and vocalist Lil Nas X to develop the exclusive Prestige Empyrean K’Sante skin in honor of the 2022 World Championship. The skin is unique since this is the first time in League history that two artists have jointly developed it.
The skin won’t be sold in the League store, but it may be obtained through the Worlds 2022 event by participating in some Teamfight Tactics, Howling Abyss, and Summoner’s Rift matches. The skin, like many other prestige skins that were launched before it, must be purchased using 2,000 Worlds 2022 tokens.
In the splash art for K’Sante’s prestige skin, pink butterflies surround the character as he is dressed to kill in an outfit befitting a hero of Nazumah. This is a symbol that Lil Nas X has used throughout his career, from the album art for his most recent album, Montero, to the butterfly tattoo on his neck in real life.
At the opening ceremony of the tournament finals in San Francisco, Lil Nas X will play “STAR WALKIN’,” the official anthem of Worlds 2022. It should be a thrilling day with amazing gameplay and a classic song from one of the biggest names in music.
