When will the long-awaited Riot SEA server for League of Legends be available?
Because League of Legends is one of the most popular video games out there, people from around the world play it. Riot Games has established up servers all across the world to meet the demand. North America, Europe West, Europe Nordic & East, and others are among the most popular servers.
Aside from the well-known Riot-controlled servers, third-party organizations also operate and manage these servers. Garena had total authority over the SEA areas.
Garena is a Singaporean game development and publishing company that was established in 2009. They have released various games in the SEA regions in addition to designing them.
Riot Games stated their collaboration with Garena will expire in 2023 more than a month ago. Furthermore, they claimed that they will publish League of Legends and TFT on their own SEA servers in 2023.
Riot Games SEA Servers
Riot Games has said that the migration from Garena to Riot will begin on November 18, 2022. If you haven’t already migrated, you may follow the official migration guide. The company has also rewarded players to migrate as soon as possible for a trouble-free experience.
Riot has also unveiled a new welcome event for new players, which will reward them with new skins and champions. All champions from 2009 to 2021 will be included in the champions. Furthermore, for skins, players will have the opportunity to acquire one Ultimate skin. Riot has also announced a slew of offline League of Legends tournaments for the SEA areas.
When will the Riot SEA server be available? Garena has stated on social media that the SEA server would be live early on January 6th, 2023. Additionally, at that period, Garena servers will be shut down.
