Riot Games has revealed many buffs coming in League of Legends patch 11.21, and the Swift Scout seems to be the most noticeable one.
In patch 11.21, the duration of Teemo’s Blinding Dart ability has been extended by 0.5 seconds each rank. At maximum rank, his blind will last three seconds. His Q’s missile speed has also been boosted from 1,500 to 2,500, implying that it would strike considerably faster than previously. Finally, the cooldown of the ability has been decreased by one second.
This immediately had people testing out the new buffs, and it has now been proved that Teemo can permanently blind enemies with the appropriate items that have ability haste.
Teemo permanent blind
According to a new video by YouTuber Vandiril, Teemo may permanently blind the enemy with Blinding Dart when he has 133 Ability Haste and the ability is maxed out at level 5. The Swift Scout can now totally disable auto-attack champions after putting the ability on a three-second cooldown.
With these new buffs, Teemo appears to be in a much better position than before when patch 11.21 is released. The Swift Scout has always been an “unique” choice that never really found its home in the meta. Yet, with these updated modifications, is likely to be employed to counter auto-attack team comps, as his Blinding Dart is now considerably stronger.
It is uncertain if the improvements will be sufficient to reintroduce him to high-elo players or even any professional tournament, since he will most likely only be a powerful counter choice against certain champions.
According to League’s official patch schedule, League Patch 11.21 will be available on all servers on October 20 and player will be able to use his buffed Q.
