The upcoming Wild Rift version 3.3b has people curious about Samira, a new markswoman. The new champion’s skills, lore, and release date are all listed here as far as we currently know.
Samira, a hyper carry who was first hinted about in the Wild Rift patch 3.3 previews, is a marksman. Like Katarina, she plays with a focus on taking down the entire opposition team. She is incredibly adept at eliminating flimsy, inexperienced athletes because of this.
Here is everything you need to know about Samira in Wild Rift, including her backstory, a description of her skills, and an estimate of when she will become available in patch 3.3b.
Samira in Wild Rift
Samira, the Desert Rose, was once a young street performer, but things suddenly changed for her when armed intruders stormed her hamlet. Samira was helpless to stop these criminals from killing innocent bystanders; all she could do was flee their line of sight.
Her life as an adult has been marked by the disappointments she felt as a result of the incident. But rather than being enraged at faceless strangers, she became irritated with herself for being too afraid to make any changes. She made a promise to herself not to allow her fear to stop her after that and began to embrace it.
Samira initially demonstrated her tenacity by performing risky acts. She later enlisted in the Noxian Warband to help support her family, where she developed into a great warrior because of her natural physical prowess and obsessive attention.
And so her journey began. Her desire for dangerous adventures gave her the motivation to keep going despite the odds, surviving every difficult situation. Samira remained a mercenary after her branch of the Noxian Warband was disbanded.
Abilities in Wild Rift
Her playstyle and abilities shouldn’t come as much of a surprise to those who are familiar with Samira from League of Legends. These are summaries from the PC version, and they most likely won’t change for her Wild Rift version.
- Passive — Daredevil Impulse: Samira chains non-repeating abilities, from ranks “E” to “S.” Each increase grants bonus movement speed, She can also hit enemies with bullets or sword, allowing both range and melee basic attacks. Samira juggles enemies’ movement speed impaired airborne enemies, extending the CC duration.
- 1 — Flair: Samira fires a shot from her gun. If enemies are close, she slashes with her sword instead.
- 2 — Blade Whirl: Samira slashes the air, creating a circle that deals damage and blocks projectile attacks.
- 3 — Wild Rush: Samira dashes through the enemy, dealing magic damage and gaining bonus attack speed. Takedowns reset Wild Rush’s cooldown.
- Ultimate (4) — Inferno Trigger: Samira unleashes a torrent of shots, attacking all nearby enemies 10 times over a duration. Each shot deals a critical strike and can lifesteal. She can only cast her ultimate when her passive is at rank S.
