Riot has announced their official showcase milestones, beginning with the Eclipse 2022 event
The Showcase Milestone system is included in patch 12.8. This enables players to unlock event capsules and progress through the milestones to get various rewards.
Showcase milestones are similar to masterwork milestones, which were added in patch 12.7, but with a higher cost and better rewards. This will be useful for those who wish to acquire all of the skins since reaching the milestone will reward you with skin shards in addition to other prizes. Riot has added some rewards for players to celebrate the debut of Showcase Milestones.

Riot mentioned the milestones in their dev post about Mythic Content Overhaul. The concept was that by reaching the showcase milestone, players would be able to obtain the prestige edition skins for each event. However, that was canceled after fans grumbled about having to spend a lot of money to acquire a prestige skin they wanted.
Now, players will now receive 125 prestige points for opening 25 capsules. In addition, prestige skins will be accessible in the mythic shop.

- 1 Capsule: Eclipse Knight 2022 Icon
- 3 Capsules: Prestige Eclipse Knight Senna Emote + 5 Mythic Essence
- 5 Capsules: Random Eclipse 2022 Epic Skin Permanent (Lunar Eclipse Aatrox, Lunar Eclipse Senna, Solar Eclipse Sejuani, Sun-Eater Kayle) + 15 Mythic Essence
- 10 Capsules: Random Eclipse 2022 Epic Skin Permanent + 20 Mythic Essence
- 15 Capsules: Random Eclipse 2022 Epic Skin Permanent + 25 Mythic Essence
- 20 Capsules: Random Eclipse 2022 Epic Skin Permanent + Eclipse 2022 Grab Bag + 30 Mythic Essence
- 25 Capsules: 2 Eclipse 2022 Grab Bags + 30 Mythic Essence
Capsules will cost 750 RP to buy, so you’ll need to spend roughly 18,000 RP for 25 capsules in total. That, if you want to collect all of the skins in the game, this is a perfect way to accomplish so, according to Riot Games.
