Riot is testing a bunch of adjustments to life steal and omnivamp items on League‘s Public Beta Environment (PBE), reducing the already overwhelming healing and sustainability mechanic in the game since the start of Preseason.

Vampiric Scepter, Bloodthirster, Ravenous Hydra, Blade of the Ruined King, Sanguine Blade, Immortal Shieldbow, and Eclipse made it to the targeted list, alongside with Ravenous Hunter.

All of the mentioned items above will get their cost increased by 50 gold (except for Vampiric Scepter), while these items will get their life steal reduced by 2 percent:

Omnivamp from Ravenous Hunter will also be reduced from 1 percent + 1.7 percent per stack to 0 percent + 1.5 percent per stack.

These changes are needed to change the current meta of the game, which has been dominated by more sustainable champions since the start of the new Season. The nerf on Ravenous Hunter could also open up more build paths and options on many champions.

The PBE nerf list is still tentative and hasn’t got its official date to hit the Rift. However, if they are all okay, these changes are very likely to hit the live servers with the release of Patch 11.6, scheduled on Match 17th.
