A new skin line is on its way to League of Legends
A new colorful image – which can be the teaser for the newest League of Legends skin line was posted earlier today by Riot Games.
The teaser showed five different color crests that were all designed with elegant symbols. The post: “A symbol of her royalty, a queen’s crest is as much a reward as a responsibility”
The crests used in the teaser represent symbols from the 2019 Trials event, which required players to select one of four houses and compete to see which house will gain the most points. It’s likely an event will follow the skin line’s release that could mimic or closely imitate last year’s event where players can select one of the factions to join.
Riot expected “another new theme” arriving in 2020 with a picture of six swords in a developer update from September. The colors of the swords correspond with today’s teaser’s colors with one caveat: there is an extra sword. However since the sixth sword is golden, it may be concluded that it would be the Prestige edition of one of the next skins.
Diana is set for a Prestige Skin by the end of the year after an article from Riot in July outlining Prestige Skins during 2020. A slight curve to the blade appears in the golden sword that may mean this blade belongs to the Scorn of the Moon.
In the coming weeks, the League of Legends fans will likely get more details about this upcoming new skin line.
