League of Legends fans will soon have to say goodbye to Prestige Points.

Ken Adams, Riot Games Product Manager, revealed the outline on Prestige Points and Skins for the next few months. Particularly, players can use Prestige Points to shop until the middle of 2021, it will then be replaced by a “new model”. Also, Leona, Lulu and Fiora are next on the list for Prestige Skins next year.

“Around the middle of 2021 (pending any setbacks) we’re streamlining the rules around rare and exclusive content, which’ll include retiring Prestige Points,” Adams said. “With less than half the year to obtain points and less than half as many options to choose from compared to 2019 and 2020, we thought it’d be unfair to create a 2021 edition of Prestige Points.”

Riot will also prolong the usage of Prestige Points for 2020 until next year when Prestige content continues to be published under a new scheme. Not much more has been given about the new model, so the fans of the League will have to wait patiently for more details.

The Prestige Edition of Star Guardian Soraka will be released in Patches 10.24, respectively, a Diana Case Prestige skin, which thematic is not yet to be announced, will be released in Patch 10.25.

From Dec 9 to 28 January, the Prestige Shop will open featuring skins, icons, emotes, grab bags, Hextech keys, and orange essence. Then the 2021 Prestige Skins, including Fiora, Leona, Lulu, and another undecided champion who has a huge impact on 2020 professionals, will be published in the first half of the year. The Prestige Shop will open again in late Spring, which will give you the last opportunity to invest some points until the launch of the new model.
