Another wave of PROJECT skins is coming to League of Legends.
Mordekaiser might well be having some awesome updates.
Riot teased a new PROJECT skin today, tweeting a clip that seems to show the Iron Revenant in his new outfit. However, the Mordekaiser cosmetic is yet to be publicly confirmed by the company.
The trailer pans from the ground up, first revealing a hulking figure mirrored in a rain puddle on the floor as dramatic music plays. It finally focuses on a massive hammer charging up with two illuminated gauntlets clasping its shaft.
The speculated splash art for what seems to be PROJECT Mordekaiser, with what seems to be Program Lissandra in the background, was making the rounds earlier today. However, without proof from Riot, this is just conjecture.
Mordekaiser isn’t sure which of the four sects he’ll join: Central, G/NETIC, PROJECT Command-Line, or Outsiders. Morde, along with Zed and Katarina, may be part of the antagonist Command-Line party looking to destroy the G/NETIC rebellion, based on the horrifying trailer.
Riot managed to spill a new skin for the AD carry in a now-deleted tweet marking Varus’ birthday. The portrait featured a Varus skin with matching skin-line tropes, such as white hair, a glowing visor, and an upside-down triangle on his forehead. Varus’ possible appearance in the skin line suggests that more champions will be joining the PROJECT universe in this round of cosmetics.
There are currently 17 PROJECT skins available, making it one of League of Legends’ most famous themes. The cyberpunk world also has the Program skin line, which contains six cosmetics.
