A player recently found out that the damage increased from Prowler’s Claw isn’t working right upon its activation.
Prowler’s Claw is a Mythic item classified for Assassin that was just introduced as a new item in League of Legends, along with some others in preseason 2021. The item is, if not, one of the most assassin’s favorite items to pick in each match because of its damage increased and the mobility it has to offer.
UNIQUE – SANDSWIPE: Dash in a line through the target enemy champion’s location, and upon completing the dash, deal 65 (+ 25% bonus AD) physical damage to the target and increase your damage dealt to them by 15% for the next 3 seconds (90 second cooldown; 500 range).
However, it has just been discovered by a user on Reddit that the item has some serious bug.
Basically, the bug happens upon the activation of the item. If you activate Prowler’s Claw too close to the selected target, the damage will not be enhanced immediately. After some calculations, it is believed that if you trigger the item within 100 range or less of the target, the bug will arise and you will not deal additional damage to the target.
A player also shared his opinion on this bug, he said that this bug had existed from many previous patches and the bug were likely to be either resulted from the targeting or the removal on minion.
Currently, Riot Games hasn’t made a move or spoken out of this Prowler’s Claw bug yet. As far as the bug still happening, assassin champions can have a hard time on killing the enemies if they are likely to activate it near the target.
