Viego sure will be in my perma-ban list for a really long time.
Viego sure is one of the most “broken” champions in many different ways to be created in the entire history of League of Legends. He is a really well-designed champion with almost no counter to his kit and playstyle, furthermore, there are so many bugs and problems around him that he become the first champion to be banned for more than 3 patches after their release from the professional tournament plays.
With that being said, Riot August – the creator of Viego often receives feedbacks about this champion from other players whenever he is in a League match. At one point, he even admitted that the bugs that the Ruined King is having are really complicated that if you fix one, another one will instantly pop out of nowhere.
More recently, August posted a tier-list about the champions he made, and to no one’s surprise, Viego is at the bottom of the list.
Fans show their interest in the post, while many say that August rated the champions based on the number of auto attacks they need to proc their passive, not an actual tier list, some actually believe that he himself also fed up with Viego at this point.
On his social media page, August also many times received good feedback for creating champions like Jhin, Vi… On his personal page, many times August shared about playing Kayle in the game as well as acknowledging the champion is now easier to play thanks to the continuous buffs.
Viego will almost certainly continue to be absent in the Summer Split 2021 and whether or not this champion will make it to the Worlds will still be decisive in the future, but at the present time, it can be said, even himself. Riot is also not knowing how to handle their champion.
