Turrets have been adjusted in the PBE ahead of the 2023 League of Legends Preseason
Riot’s preseason updates are always designed to shake things up. These modifications often include modifying systems or adding extra mechanisms.
Riot Games has been attempting to resurrect the split-pushing meta for multiple seasons by releasing split-pushing items like as Sanguine Blade, Hullbreaker, adjusting turrets, and updating split-push champions…
Turrets changes ahead of Preseason 2023
- Turret plating gold increased from 160 to 175
- Bonus resistances per plate destroyed increased from 35 to 40
On October 25, a fresh modification was released to the PBE, with Riot buffing turrets once more.
According to Spideraxe, a future patch will buff single turret plating gold from 160 gold to 175 gold. The balance team is also raising bonus resistances for every plate destroyed from 35 to 40.
The change signal rewards teams for having higher priority in the lane. This also makes it more difficult to destroy because the plates become stronger with each plate broken.
Turrets have already been modified this season, with Riot increasing turret base attack damage in Patch 12.10. However, significant turret modifications, such as extra gold from damaged turret platings and resistances, were implemented during season 11.
Although the changes in Patch 12.21 are small, the community will most likely focus extensively on choosing heavy-lane champions and comps. These adjustments will also make it more important for teams and players to play more aggressively and push lanes in order to gain a higher priority on Rift Herald.
Aside from that, earning that early gold will be more vital than ever before in order to get yourself and your team snowballing.
