Sessions: Star Guardian Taliyah, the newest album in the Sessions series, was just made available by Riot Games’ music section. 16 different musicians, including Snail’s House, Leon Chang, and Strawberry Station, collaborated on the entire 29-song album.
Sessions: Star Guardian is identical to its predecessors in the Sessions series. Taliyah is advertised as a “creator-safe” album, which means that each of its 29 tracks is okay to be used in content made by streamers and content makers. The last two Sessions albums, Sessions: Vi and Sessions: Diana, have accumulated over 43 million streams amongst all major streaming services, according to Riot Games.
Both of the first two Sessions records were entirely instrumental works. “A suite of dance and electronic music… that also plays in the glitch pop, future funk, and kawaii bass areas” is what Riot describes as being present in Sessions: Star Guardian Taliyah.
Star Guardian Sessions The same week that Taliyah is released, League will host its forthcoming Star Guardian in-game event. The 10-week-long event will highlight thematic themes from Japanese animation and how they interact with the League of Legends world. Other Riot games, such as League of Legends: Wild Rift and Legends of Runeterra, will also have the event live.
Sessions: Star Guardian Taliyah is now available on all major streaming services. League’s Star Guardian event will begin on July 14.
