The League of Legends champion Aurelion Sol is the next to get a big gameplay upgrade, with the Star Forger acquiring new abilities and an infinitely growing passive
Aurelion Sol has finally been updated to meet the League’s current requirements. The Star Forger should be on his way to terrifying Summoner’s Rift soon, thanks to the addition of a new passive and the elimination of some of his previous skills. Recently, some more details concerning his abilities have surfaced on the community.
Last week, Riot Games developer Yelough revealed some new details on Aurelion Sol’s powers. This went up on January 16th with 4 of his new abilities and interactions revealed.
His Q, Breath of Light, will have a cooldown and a channel time limit, however they will be negated while in Astral Flight. Furthermore, the ability will follow the player’s mouse throughout flight, and it will be able to shoot it 360 degrees.
The basic distance of his E, Astral Flight, will be 1200, but it will grow by 7.5 for every Stardust acquired. Aurelion Sol will fly in a straight line during the ability, with his ultimate direction hidden from opponents. He can also see through walls, but not into bushes. Movement or clicking W again will cancel the ability, but it will not cancel his channeled Q.
His E, Singularity, which summons a black hole at a specified place. In addition to hurting and pulling enemies, it will also execute them at a specific threshold. Yelough said that the execution threshold starts at 5% of max health and increases by 1% when the champion has 40 stacks of passive. While the ability is active, minions and monsters will have no movement speed.
His initial ultimate damage will be about equal to Orianna and Azir’s damage. That will be much improved in the updated version. Furthermore, Yasuo’s Windwall will stop the movement of his ult but does not block damage or stun. Epic monsters will also be affected by this ability as well.
The Aurelion Sol Rework will be available on live servers in Patch 13.3 on February 7, 2023.
