Riot Games has announced all of the information on the approaching 2022 Spring EU Masters, which will feature the top teams from the European Regional Leagues. The notification also lists the various dates for each stage in the game as well as the number of places allocated to each league.
The top 12 teams will automatically qualify for the group stage, while the remaining 16 teams will participate in four-team groups in the play-ins. Teams will participate in a double round-robin format, with the top two from each group progressing to the play-in knockout stage of EU Masters Spring.
The winners of the Play-In Knockouts will advance to the main Group Stage, which will take place on April 14-17 and 21-24. The knockout stage winners will advance to the main stage. The teams will then be divided into four groups and participate in a double round-robin format, with the top two teams from each group progressing to a single-elimination, best-of-five playoff bracket to decide the event champion.
The competition culminates on May 7 with the Grand Final. With the level of quality among European clubs, this is going to be an exciting battle that fans will not want to miss out on.
