Riot fixing bug and unban league of legends players

The latest Mythic item – Goliath’s Ascendancy is creating a great controversy among the League of Legends community despite not even being released in the game. This item is super broken that gives players quintillion Health on the PBE. However, Riot’s system seems to be broken as well as they are permanently banning players from using this item due to “Bug Abuse” and “Cheating”? Now, Riot Games confirmed that they are fixing the bug banning players and trying to unban anyone affected.

According to the first player who encounter the bans, RossBoomsocks – a League content creator and streamer – [R]iot fixed the bug. However, this bug seems not to be caused by the item but due to a spell.

Unfortunately, Riot has not yet provided any information about the spell that caused their anti-cheat system to start mass-banning users. All prior assumptions that Heartsteel, third-party applications, VALORANT, or Riot’s anti-cheat Vanguard were ineffective were thus unfounded.

Riot’s anti-cheat team got involved because this is hardly the definition of a minor problem, and they are presently trying to lift all wrongly banned players’ bans. This implies that if you haven’t already been unbanned, you most likely will be within the next few days.
