Riot Games has recently rolled out yet another micropatch for League of Legends, marking the arrival of patch 14.3’s 3rd micropatch.
Despite the relatively short span since the debut of Season 14, the frequency of updates has been notable, with patch 14.3 bringing a plethora of significant changes and additions to the game.
Among the highlights of this latest update is the introduction of a new event pass, a fresh skin line, and various accessories, enhancing the in-game experience for players. Additionally, the update has numerous adjustments to champion mechanics, aiming to balance gameplay dynamics. Consequently, in the first micropatch following 14.3, Aurelion Sol saw some necessary nerfs to restore balance.
Furthermore, the extensive nature of the update also brought forth unintended bugs, one of the most notable being the Elder Dragon spawn issue, which caused the first Elder Dragon to appear earlier than intended. Thcaitis bug was promptly addressed alongside Aurelion Sol’s adjustments in the micropatch.
Despite these efforts, the game still grapples with several noteworthy bugs, one of the most impactful being associated with Caitlyn’s passive ability, Headshot. This passive mechanic functions by granting stacks upon hitting enemy players, culminating in a powerful, high-damage basic attack upon reaching maximum stacks.
However, a critical bug plagued Caitlyn players, causing stacks to inexplicably vanish regardless of their engagement in combat, significantly impairing her damage potential.
Fortunately, Riot swiftly responded to the community’s concerns, promptly addressing the Caitlyn passive bug in the latest micropatch. With the bug rectified, Caitlyn’s passive now functions as intended, offering players a more consistent and enjoyable gameplay experience.
Consequently, those who previously found Caitlyn’s performance hindered by the bug are encouraged to play her, as she now operates at optimal efficiency within the game’s mechanics.
