Previously, FeralPony had talked about League of Legends: Wild Rift in the Development Diary video two months ago. The person in charge of designing the game mentioned that most of the champions will be edited because their skill set doesn’t adapt well to the touch screen.
This is considered to be an emphasis that the champions will still have some changes though their nature remains similar to the original version on the PC.

Soon, the developer is launching a “limited test version” of the game in June for Brazilian and Filipino players to experience.
We had a chance to play the beta test of League of Legends: Wild Rift in October last year. At that time, the user interface was almost non-existent but the gameplay was smooth and clung to familiar mechanics that had been with LoL fans for the past 10 years.
LoL Wild Rift is also inspired by other MOBA games on mobile that have been customized and upgraded over the past few years – like minimizing level limits or giving players a consolation amount of gold if missed last-hit soldiers, …
Maps in League of Legends: Wild Rift will also be significantly different from the original Summoner’s Rift when it will be more open to shortening the match time, ensuring a smooth experience on mobile.
In addition, the number of items available is also significantly reduced.
The important thing to remember is LoL: Wild Rift is a completely new game. In addition to training the skills to suit the mobile/console controls, Riot will not support cross-play (cross-platform play) or use the simulator program.
However, longtime LoL players will still receive gratitude rewards if they use the same Riot account to log into LoL: Wild Rift.
