Riot is planning for a new Worlds 2020 boy band called BLOODTHIRSTER

The upcoming skin theme may belong to a modern boy band, similar to True Damage or K/DA.

In 2018, Riot Games closed Worlds with POP/STAR by a virtual K-pop girl group K/DA, which later achieved immense success by becoming the most popular music video to ever be released by Riot Games.

Not stopping there, they continued to stir the Worlds 2019 with a boy-girl group: True Damage. But unfortunately, they could not overcome the huge shadow that was created by K/DA in 2018.

However, it seems that Riot will not give up yet. Currently, they are preparing for a new skin line that will introduce a brand new boy band in League of Legends.

According to information released by ESPN Esports writer FionnOnFire, Riot has selected five champions including Aphelios, Sylas, Yone, Ezreal and Sett to form a new group, called BLOODTHIRSTER.

Suggested from their name, BLOODTHIRSTER will be very likely to have a strong image and music style. Maybe they’re heading to the rock genre after they have successfully created catchy K-Pop tunes with K/DA and addictive rap and R&B rhythms with True Damage?

However, it is still quite early for Riot to finalize the plan because World Championship 2020 is nearly 3 months away. The group name, members and music styles can still be changed to meet the tastes of the fans.

Fans are looking forward to the “Riot Music” team that they believed, will create a new song that has global appeal as well as to warm up the atmosphere for this year’s upcoming Worlds Championship.
