Riot may have accidentally revealed certain rework updates on the magical cat with Aurelion Sol CGU gameplay video
Riot officially stated that Yuumi would be reworked in December 2022. In addition, they published a Dev Blog to clarify the path of the rework. Aside from that, no additional information regarding the information was released.
However, Riot may have accidently disclosed additional fresh information regarding the Yuumi change with the recent Aurelion Sol CGU footage. The majority of the data came from Aurelion Sol CGU clips released on Riot King Cobra’s YouTube channel. Additionally, the changes were analysis by Reddit user Meowpatine.
Yuumi rework in 2023
According to recent reports, her new kit will feature a host of exciting changes. The “Passive – Bop ‘n’ Block” appears to be the most important modification. According to the footage, Yuumi can now use the passive shield without detaching from an allied champion. Her passive shield may have been exchanged with her “E – Zoomies,” making it an active shield that you may offer to teammates on command.
Her Q ability, Prowling Projectile, may also be overhauled. The ability now fires a long-range shot that damages all enemies in its path. Perhaps they are causing the ability to travel in a straight path, similar to her present Q while being detached. This will provide Yuumi with much-needed waveclear and let her to harass opponent champions from a safe distance.
The W – You and Me! appears to have been “Kalistafied”. While she may still leap to many teammates, her skills may behave differently while tied to her selected ally.
Her E – Zoomies appears to be an AOE heal now. Based on the footage, she healed both Gragas and Ashe at the same time. Another theory is that her healing is tied to the Q and that by hitting her Q ability, she may now AOE heal teammates.
Last but not least is her ult. Sadly, as Yuumi did not use the Final Chapter in the clips, there is presently no fresh information regarding any alterations. So we’ll have to wait till Riot officially discloses more details on the changes.
All in all, the changes to her kit seem to be well thought out and will make her a much more viable and exciting champion to play. In conclusion, the Yuumi rework 2023 is shaping up to be a fantastic update, and fans of the champion can’t wait to try out her new abilities
