On February 8, Riot Games officially revealed the dates and venue of this year’s League of Legends Mid-Season Invitational. The event will be held in May, like in the previous three years, but for the first time, it will be hosted by the capital city of England.

Beginning on May 2, 13 teams from across the world will compete in the Copper Box Arena, which is located in the heart of Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park.

Live events in Europe, such as the LEC Summer Finals in Malmo, demonstrated to Riot how much European fans wished to be there during key moments in League tournaments. This may have influenced London’s selection as the ideal location for this year’s MSI.

As previously indicated, the tournament will begin on May 2 and will continue 19 days, with the final match taking place on May 21. Despite the fact that the MSI will have a new format this year, the tournament will still be separated into three stages: play-in, bracket, and final.

League supporters will most likely travel from all across the country to cheer on their favorite teams. Riot has also announced the theme for the worldwide tournament. During MSI 2023, players, teams, and supporters are challenged to DEFY expectations, detractors, and doubts by showcasing their finest self. MSI, according to Riot, is the first leap toward greatness, a tournament that challenges its contestants to their utmost.
