The League of Legends series that took place today in the LPL between RNG and Anyone’s Legend was lopsided. RNG easily defeated Anyone’s Legend 2-0 thanks to improved collaboration and objective-based gaming.
The series saw outstanding performances from the whole RNG roster. Wei’s Jungling with his Vi in game one assisted his team in quickly acquiring an Ocean Soul. While serving as RNG’s frontline, he also scored a remarkable 8/0/14 KDA. For RNG, Taliyah under the control of Xiaohu was the main source of damage. In team fights, he eliminated any opponent champions that were in the wrong place.
While Anyone’s Legend couldn’t mount a strong counter to RNG in game one, the second game appeared to be more promising. Even the first two dragons were persuaded to reduce RNG’s gold lead. Unfortunately, they were aced by RNG while attempting to slay the third dragon and handed the opposing team a free Baron.
The momentum then changed in RNG’s favor. Before their team’s AD carry became fed, Gwen of Breathe and Lissandra of Xiaohu were the main damage dealers. Gala was able to annihilate his foes after obtaining his three essential items, even recording a quadra kill, before his team demolished Anyone’s Legend’s Nexus to secure back-to-back victories.
RNG now has an 11-2 record and is in third place overall in the 2022 LPL Summer Split table after winning this series. When they compete against Invictus Gaming next on August 6 at 3.45 AM CT, they will be hoping to extend their winning streak.
This defeat will be disappointing for Anyone’s Legend. They have now suffered three straight losses, moving them up to eighth in the standings. With an in-form JDG in the following series, making a comeback will be a challenge. It will start on August 7 at 6 AM CT.
