Ruined King: A League of Legends Story Is A Single-Player, RPG Game Made By Riot – Launch In Early 2021

Ruined King: A League of Legends Story marks the first time Riot makes a singleplayer game.

The League of Legends‘ lore is really wide and creative. It’s too big that a single multiplayer game can’t itself express every aspect of it. In order to create an immersive experience for fans who have been following Riot for all those years, they announced Ruined King: A League of Legends Story. This game will be a singleplayer and belong to the RPG genre. It’s scheduled to launch in early 2021.

Ruined King’s Theme

This game is developed by Airship Syndicate and published by Riot Forge. This game’s theme takes place in 2 regions: Bilgewater and Shadow Isles. As for the mysterious theme they are developing for these 2 regions, these make the perfect themes for the next singleplayer game. Head of Riot Forge – Leanne Loombe shared: “Ruined King is a great way to expand the world of Runeterra for brand new players as well as our dedicated League of Legends fans,” and also: “We are excited to take this plunge into exploring stories and champions that players have enjoyed over the years, and can’t wait for our players to embark on this new adventure with us.”

Players will be able to control Miss Fortune, Illaoi, Braum, Yasuo, Ahri, and Pyke.

Bilgewater

This city is a port, homeplace of Miss Fortune, Illaoi, Graves, Gangplank, and Fizz. You will ride on a journey facing humans and gangsters in this “water” land. Not to mention Illaoi, she worships Nagakabouros which is described to have the appearance of “Octopus”. Does this have any similarity to Cthulhu? For this mysterious land, this is a perfect place for an RPG adventure to take place.

Shadow Isles

Yes, actually this place already has its name listed in the title itself. The Ruined King is back! As for the lore of Thresh, Senna, Lucian, Hecarim, and Kalista, there are plenty of room to explore more but we haven’t really had a chance to see up until now.

Platform

Ruined King: A League of Legends Story will be available on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Steam, and the Epic Games Store. They haven’t confirmed the price yet, we hope it will be reasonable. Check out their website.
